We believe the Goals and Criteria of a Sacred Heart education enable students to live lives of faith, intellectual excellence, responsibility to self and community and personal integrity.

Brother Rice High School is a Catholic College Preparatory School for young men. Inspired by the Essential Elements of a Christian Brother Education , the school fosters the spiritual, intellectual, cultural and physical development of its students. The Brother Rice community promotes excellence through an environment conducive to lifelong personal growth, responsible moral choices and critical thinking.

In light of the Mission Statement, a Brother Rice graduate will ideally do the following:
· Develop a personal spirituality based on Catholic teaching that encourages active participation in a community of faith
· Cultivate continuing intellectual curiosity through the use of critical and analytical interaction with his environment and culture
· Make healthy life choices that enhance physical and emotional wellbeing for himself and others.
· Exhibit personal and social responsibility as a member of the global community.
· Pursue leadership roles and willingly accept the accompanying authority and responsibility.
· Recognize and respect the dignity of each person and value the cultural diversity of society.
· Demonstrate an awareness of and appreciation for the various forms the Arts and Science.

Our Mission
To educate 1st-12th grade students with reading, attention and other learning challenges by building academic skills and self-confidence in an accepting and supportive environment.
Our Method
Not all children are the same. And not all children learn the same, either. This is at the heart of the Eton Approach,™ a proprietary teaching method that looks at children as individuals and develops techniques based on their specific learning challenges. By blending rigorous multisensory academics, brain-based research and specialized teacher training with open lines of communication among educators, students and parents, no one is left behind. And we’re able to unlock years of frustration and turn them into years of empowered focus.
Our Students
Smart kids. Highly functioning kids. Kids who struggle in a traditional classroom setting. Students with ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, auditory processing challenges, reading deficiencies, process-speed challenges, dyscalculia and nonverbal learning differences have all excelled at Eton.
Approximately 217 students from 50 cities across Southeastern Michigan attend this National Exemplary School in Birmingham. After attending Eton Academy for an average of three to five years, most students are equipped to return to their public or private schools. Of those who graduate from Eton, 96% percent go directly to college or other specialized programs.
Eton Academy is accredited by the Independent Schools Association of Central States.

For over 30 years, Lindamood-Bell has been improving the lives of students. Our research-validated programs develop the skills necessary for reading and comprehension.

We believe all students can learn to their potential—including those previously diagnosed with dyslexia,  autism spectrum disorders, or general learning challenges.

The Roeper School, a leader in gifted education preK-12th grade for over 75 years, is dedicated to educating and inspiring gifted students to think as individuals and to engage as a community with compassion for each other and this world. Its award-winning athletics, forensics, chess, robotics, and theater programs are just a few outlets available for students to explore their passions. The depth of its academics, dedication to diversity, and strong student-teacher relationships help gifted students realize their potential. With its holistic perspective, Roeper succeeds in matriculating lifelong learners of uncommon excellence to schools and opportunities of their choice.
