The Alzheimer's Association --- Greater Michigan Chapter, was founded in 1981.  We are a private, non-profit voluntary health organization and one of over 80 chapters across the United States.  Our mission is to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.

The American Lung Association is the leading organization working to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease, through research, education and advocacy. Our work is focused on four strategic imperatives: to defeat lung cancer; to improve the air we breathe; to reduce the burden of lung disease on individuals and their families; and to eliminate tobacco use and tobacco-related diseases.

Established in 1974, the Area Agency on Aging 1-B (AAA 1-B) is a nonprofit 501(c) 3 organization with a rich history of supporting older adults, people with disabilities and family caregivers in southeast Michigan. We are part of a national network of Area Agencies on Aging and a leader in aging services in a six-county region that includes Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, St. Clair and Washtenaw counties. We help people access the services and programs they need to remain living independently and with dignity in their own home or with family caregivers. We provide direct care programs for seniors, along with funding and support for many programs provided by our community partner organizations.

The Ascension Providence Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Ascension Providence Hospital that supports the programs and services of the hospital through fundraising efforts and community engagement. The team raises funds for programs, equipment, patient support, hospital advancements, endowments and more. Through the generosity of close to 6,000 donors, the Foundation has raised over $35 Million in the past five years to support neurosurgery and neurological research, cardiovascular care, medical education, cancer care, and capital improvements. Over the next five years projects include neurosurgery and cardiovascular advancements, behavioral and mental health including Ascension’s Brighton Center for Addiction Recovery, assistance for patients in need, cancer care, and more.
The Mission of Ascension, a Catholic health ministry, is committed to providing spiritually centered, holistic care which sustains and improves the health of individuals in the communities we serve with special attention to the poor and vulnerable. Our values include Service of the Poor: giving of our time and talents with a generosity of spirit, especially for persons most in need; and Reverence: respect and compassion for the dignity and diversity of life. Ascension Providence Hospital is one of the few major hospitals in the Detroit Metropolitan area that truly prioritizes service to the poor; we never turn away people in need. As a community-based, teaching system, Ascension Providence merges compassion and patient-centered care with university expertise and treatment. Our team in Southfield, Novi and Howell includes more than 1,400 physicians, 4,600 nurses and associates, 900 volunteers, 180 medical residents and fellows. Together we provide award-winning care in over 50 specialties.

Automation Alley acts as a catalyst to enhance the image of Southeast Michigan to help our members grow their businesses. We provide products and services that stimulate and highlight the technological excellence and diversity of our regional economy. We link industry, government and academia to attract, develop and retain a skilled workforce required by a knowledge-based economy.

Nonprofit organization formed by an inter-local agreement between Birmingham, Beverly Hills, Franklin and Bingham Farms to provide advocacy for the citizens of these communities in dealing with cable providers and to provide local public access programming.

The Birmingham Community Coalition, a 501(c)(3),non-profit organization whose mission is to raise awareness and mobilize the entire community to prevent the abuse of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs, with a primary focus on our youth!

The mission of the Birmingaham Education Foundation is to create exceptional educational experiences by connecting innovative teachers with community support.

Rotary International is the world's first service club organization, with more than 1.2 million members in 33,000 clubs worldwide. Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto Service Above Self.

The Rotary Club of Birmingham (MI) is one of the largest clubs in District 6380. Our club was chartered in 1924 and have provided service to our community, our country, and to the world since we began.  Our club members give their time to our efforts in the following Rotary areas:

  • Promoting Peace
  • Fighting Disease
  • Providing clean water, sanitation, and hygiene
  • Saving mothers and children
  • Supporting education
  • Growing local economies
  • Ending Polio FOREVER! 

Birmingham Youth Assistance is a local non-profit that is dedicated to the prevention and reduction of juvenile delinquency, child abuse, and child neglect, by providing community based casework and counseling services as well as providing alternatives for children and families that live within the boundaries of the Birmingham Public School District.  BYA is a partnership of: the Oakland County Circuit Court-Family Division; the City of Birmingham and the Villages of Beverly Hills, Bingham Farms, and Franklin; the Birmingham Public Schools; and community volunteers.

The BHS Foundation provides a vehicle for individuals, families, alumni, community members, businesses and organizations to share resources and gifts with our Bloomfield Hills Schools.We raise priate dollars to support essential programs in core and co-curricular academics, the arts, social emotional health, special education, recreation, and more.
