POSITION SUMMARY 

The Dishwasher at Leena's maintains cleanliness around the restaurant by operating washing machines and washing specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots and delicate china) 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Dishwasher responsibilities include collecting used dishes, plates and utensils, loading washing machines and stacking washed items appropriately.  He/She will have opportunities to learn other functions in the kitchen and apply newly learned skills.  Ultimately, he/she will help provide an unforgettable dining experience for our guests. 

POSTION RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas 

  • Load and unload dishwashing machines 

  • Wash specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots and delicate china) 

  • Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately 

  • Set up workstations before meal prep begins 

  • Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours 

  • Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents) and prompt management to place orders when necessary 

  • Remove garbage regularly 

  • Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor

    Responsible for maintenance, repair, administrative support, and other related duties with support The Pinehills Landowners Association (PHLOA) and the General District Association.     Facility Operations

    Requirements:  
     

    •Associate's Degree in healthcare or business required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

    •Current BLS certification required; BLS instructor certification preferred

    •1 year of prior experience working in a healthcare setting as project or program assistant required.

    •Prior experience as administrator of a learning management system such as HealthStream preferred

    The General Society of Mayflower Descendants (GSMD) has a full-time opening in the Department of Genealogy and Research Services at its Plymouth headquarters. This position will work as part of a team to process membership applications, by evaluating lineage information and documentation for completeness, validity, and correctness. Extensive experience in professional genealogical research and methods is key to this role. We expect a qualified candidate will need to learn what is unique about the Mayflower Society processes before completely assuming full supervisory responsibilities. 

    The position will oversee and manage workloads and be responsible for training and coaching of staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying process improvements to enhance efficiencies without sacrificing quality. Position serves as an ambassador to our state society volunteers in support of their new applicants for membership.
