and provide ways for you to get involved.

Halloween Fun For All Your Little Monsters! South Shore Community Action Council's 4th Annual Pumpkin Ru

THE RACE IS ON TO END HUNGER ON THE SOUTH SHORE!  
SSCAC is hosting its 4th Annual Pumpkin Run/Walk to End Hunger. Proceeds will help SSCAC fight hunger and food insecurity so that every child, family, and senior on the South Shore has enough food to grow, live, and thrive! We'll also be collecting food donations, so don't forget to bring a non-perishable food item!

* Snap a selfie in the Pumpkin Run photo booth!
* Hang out with Gobbles, the Plymouth Pilgrims Mascot!
* Have fun with arts, crafts, and face-painting!
* Celebrate the season with colorful costumes and festive running/walking gear!

* T-shirts for everyone!
* Custom-designed medals for top male and female finishers in each age bracket, hand-crafted by Chickie Celli of Claychick pottery studio in Plymouth.

Gather up your friends, co-workers, and family members to form a team of 10 or more and get a dedicated VIP Team Tent. With an award for the biggest team, SSCAC's Pumpkin Run is a great way for committed business leaders and employees to get involved and give back!

Santa VIP Train Package

Santa VIP Train Package

Enter the whimsical world of Edaville Family Theme Park an hour early with our Santa VIP Package. This package includes admission to the entire park including Christmas Festival of Lights & Thomas Land. Join Santa Claus on the Santa VIP train for a fun and festive journey around Edaville. Each VIP package includes a name badge so that Santa will know each and every person! Every child will receive one on one time with Santa, along with a special wrapped gift. As the train arrives back at the station, select rides will be open!

Please Note: All tickets for the Santa VIP Train Package must be purchased through the Santa VIP ticket page to ensure your seat is reserved. Edaville requests that all Santa VIP Package holders are in line for the train at the train depot by 1:05 PM, as the train departs promptly at 1:15. Discounts not accepted. 

Santa VIP Packages are available to be booked for Saturdays and Sundays, as well as December 24th.

Make it Better with Cranberries Cooking Contest

The A.D. Makepeace Company, the Cape Cod Cranberry Growers' AssociationTrucchi’s Supermarkets, and edible SOUTH SHORE and SOUTH COAST magazine, invite you to enter the annual Make It Better with Cranberries Cooking Contest.

Each year, selected recipes are put together in a recipe book that is published by Rock Village Publishing, Middleborough, MA.  The books will be available for sale in the spring by Cape Cod Cranberry Growers’ Association, A.D. Makepeace Company, and Trucchi’s Supermarkets. Proceeds from book sales benefit the Cranberry Educational Foundation.
