Working on Wellness Informational Webinar

Massachusetts employers of all sizes are taking an active role in creating healthier businesses with the support of the Department of Public Health (DPH). We have an opportunity for businesses in MA to participate in Working on Wellness, a comprehensive statewide worksite wellness initiative.  Working on Wellness provides up to $10,000 in seed funding, expert training and hands on support to employers as they develop and implement their worksite wellness action plan.  It’s all aimed at enabling employees to make healthful choices at work, home and beyond.

For-profit, non-profit and government organizations are all eligible to apply.  We currently have organizations with as few as 8 employees and as many as 2300 employees.  At www.mawow.org you can

HopeHealth Walk for Alzheimer’s

The HopeHealth Walk for Alzheimer’s supports local families dealing with the effects of Alzheimer’s disease with a 3-mile stroll along the Cape Cod Canal.

 

This event is the principal fundraiser for Hope Dementia & Alzheimer’s Services which provides free diagnostic and support services in the community.

Register a team, or walk on your own, on Sunday, May 15th at Scusset Beach State Park on the Cape Cod Canal.

In-person Registration, Speakers and Resource Exhibits from 9:00 am, with the Walk starting at 10:00 a.m.

All are welcome, including Virtual Walkers who have a date conflict or physical disability!
