Professional Hearing Center is an ever-growing private practice of state licensed and nationally credentialed audiologists in the greater Kansas City area. The practice was started by Dr. Kelly Spiller in 2008 in Belton, Missouri. As the practice grew, Dr. Spiller opened a second location in Liberty, Missouri. In 2015, Dr. Spiller reached an agreement to merge with ENT Associates of Greater Kansas City, PC, which is a large group of independent otorhinolaryngologists, also known as ear, nose, and throat physicians. As a combined group, PHC and ENT Associates are able to provide the most comprehensive care and services to our patients. We are currently a group of 10 Doctors of Audiology, 2 Audiology Residents, and 5 Audiology Patient Care Coordinators. Professional Hearing Center is coming to Merriam in 2019!

The University of Kansas Medical Center serves Kansas through excellence in education, research, patient care and community engagement. Its main campus at the corner of 39th Street and Rainbow Avenue in Kansas City, Kan., consists of the University of Kansas School of Medicine, School of Nursing and School of Health Professions, as well as The University of Kansas Hospital, which is a separate entity. The School of Medicine - the only medical school in Kansas - also has campuses in Wichita and Salina. KU Medical Center is home to The University of Kansas Cancer Center, a National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center (one of only 67 NCI-designated centers in the country), as well as a National Institutes of Health-designated Alzheimer's Disease Center (one of only 29 such centers in the country). It is also one of 60 institutions in the national Clinical and Translational Science Award consortium, where researchers are working to speed up basic-science discoveries into cures and treatments.
