Growing Futures Early Education Center, a Head Start program, serves more than 200 low-income Johnson County children (birth to age 5), their families, and expectant mothers.  Established in 1965, the program provides a quality early childhood education program and comprehensive family services, including health, nutrition, social services, mental health, services to children with special needs, as well as parent training and  involvement opportunities.
