Position
Description: The Event Venue Coordinator is responsible for the sale and
execution of private events at Clark Gardens. This position is also responsible
for successful pre-event planning of the event, managing the event and events
staff, and post event follow up while delivering outstanding customer service. Other
duties include working as a team member to plan and execute annual public
events. This position reports directly to the Director of Private Events.
Responsibilities
include: Assist the Director of Private Events with various duties related to the facility rental and public and private events, researching and creating festival activities, soliciting and interfacing with vendors, entertainers, assisting in the design of marketing concepts, implementing the marketing campaign, event set-up, floor plans and activities, take down of tables and chairs, shuttling guests, maintaining venue, social media posts, general administrative duties, assisting the Director of Private Events in overseeing event function, and post event analysis.
Hours are mainly worked on Fridays, Saturdays, and some Sundays.
