Events

The “See Ya Later” Foundation “Go Be Great Culinary Camp” will be a combination of education and fun. The driving force begins with a passion for food and quality ingredients. The focus, however, will be on food safety, proper food handling, sanitation, kitchen safety, knife skills, understanding recipes, herb/spice identification, cooking techniques, time management, and of course creativity. Whether these young cooks decide to pursue a career in the culinary field or not, this will be an experience that will develop skills that these kids can carry with them for the rest of their lives.

Each participant will take the Oregon Restaurant & Lodging Association training and receive their Oregon State Food Handlers card as part of this event. Each camper should bring their school issued laptop for this portion.
