Mission Sunflower Festival is Moving to Fall
Saturday, October 12th

The Mission Business Association, along with the City of Mission, is hosting the third annual Mission Sunflower Festival in downtown Mission, KS on Saturday, October 12, 2019. The Festival includes a parade, all-day fun, “old time fair and carnival” games, contests, live music and entertainers and much more.

The date isn’t the only thing changing:

• The Festival is now a full-day event that kicks off in the morning with the parade along Johnson Drive and ends that night with a street dance and fireworks show.
• Besides the street dance and fireworks show, we are also adding a car show, touch-a-truck event, new contests and more.
• The games will be held in two central locations, instead of along the sidewalks, thus giving you plenty of space to hold creative, special events in front of your shops.

Tentative Schedule

8:00–9:00       Surprise (still confirming)

9:00–11:00     Rotary Breakfast

10:00–10:30   Parade

10:30–3:00     Games, Contests, Entertainers

10:30–5:00     Artists and Vendors

1:00–3:00       Bingo

3:00–5:00       Car Show

5:00–8:00       Food Trucks, Party, Street Dance

8:00–8:30       Fireworks
