We Roast. We Bake. We Brew.  Fresh is Better!

Our coffee beans are responsibly-sourced and roasted in-house. We grind the beans seconds before we brew so you can enjoy the highest-quality, specialty coffee in your cup. We also offer organic teas, 100% juice smoothies, iced drinks, beer & wine, baked goods, sandwiches and salads, all in a warm, inviting environment. We have ample indoor and outdoor seating to relax and reconnect. Come enjoy our free WiFi when you're looking to get some work done away from home and the office.

We are located in the heart of the historic district with parking in the rear.

FROM COMPANY: We have opted to close our coffee shop as we explore solutions that resonate with our mission. In the meantime, we will still be providing roasted coffee through our website.

Rootline Coffee is conveniently located in Dripping Springs at 2001 W US Hwy 290, Suite 116, 78620. At Rootline, we know it can be overwhelming to find specialty grade coffee that is ethically sourced. The truth is that many of us have purchased coffee without knowing that the farmers who grow it are often mistreated and underpaid. Child labor, poor working conditions, and exploitation are just a few of the ways that corruption has entered the industry, and most of us have bought coffee without knowing that the farmers were exploited.

Britt and Audrey Hancock saw the corruption first hand, and knew they had to do something different. Their dream to improve the lives of impoverished people in developing countries through sustainable business lead them to the coffee industry. They wanted to empower locals and impact the community, so they bought a coffee farm and named it Esperanza de Gloria (EDG), which means Hope of Glory. The coffee is grown at high elevations, ranks in the top 3% in the world, and is grown with sustainable farming practices.

"Some coffee companies are trying to solve corruption through direct trade, to cut out the middleman who takes advantage of the farmers," Britt said, "But we go beyond direct trade by actually owning the farm. That way we can pay our harvesters 48% above the national minimum wage, give them three meals a day, and a place to live."

Rootline Coffee Company has intentionally integrated into the beautiful city of Dripping Springs. Where we believe this community and our connection with Nicaragua will flourish in unity. This coffee shop is a celebration of supporting farmers and impoverished people while giving DSTX a place to connect. We’re so excited to finally announce the opening of our new coffee shop, but we are even more ecstatic to raise an overall awareness that the coffee you purchase can make a difference in the lives of farmers. We’re open Monday - Saturday from 6:30am - 3pm so stop in; we would love to meet you! For more information, visit rootlinecoffeeco.com and follow us at @rootlinecoffee on Instagram or Facebook.
