Focus: Mike provides comprehensive investment planning. Mike helps build, manage, protect, and transition wealth for a select group of individuals, families, small businesses, and financial institutions.  Background and experience:  For over 25 years Mike has helped clients address their financial concerns and develop strategies by focusing on each individual’s specific needs. With extensive experience throughout major shifts in the markets, Mike has dedicated his career to delivering the personalized investment planning services his clients deserve.  Mike began his career as a Financial Advisor with Prudential Securities, where he developed his fundamental investment knowledge. He joined A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc., a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors, in 1995 and provides personalized financial advice for individuals and families.  In 2007, Mike earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ or CFP® certification by completing an approved educational program, passing a rigorous examination, and meeting stringent experience requirements.  Mike earned his bachelor’s degree at the William Jewell College.  While at William Jewell College he played football and was a team captain. After college, he settled in Kansas City and over 25 years later still loves all the city has to offer.  Away from the office: Mike spends his free time with his wife and three kids. Mike enjoys playing the bagpipes, sports, and fitness obstacle course races. He is a member of several professional organizations including the FBI Kansas City Citizens Academy, Northeast Johnson County Chamber of Commerce and Gladstone Area Chamber of Commerce.
