The ReStore Manager is responsible for the overall business performance of the ReStore with priority responsibilities on the procurement, marketing and sale of quality donated items in a volume necessary to achieve sales targets; the planning and execution of an effective and efficient receiving and inventory system; operational management of retail space and limited storage space; HR duties such as hiring, training, scheduling, supervision and professional development of ReStore staff; and collaboration with HFHGP Volunteer Manager for ReStore volunteerism opportunities.
The ReStore Manager must be a team-oriented leader with a propensity to embrace innovative thinking to meet ambitious goals. He/she must be committed to excellent customer service, driven by a self-motivated industrious work ethic, have strong leadership and people skills, and an effective communication style. He/she must welcome innovative marketing techniques and technologies and have the ability to establish our presence on untapped platforms and social media outlets. He/she must have a positive and professional demeanor for in-person, digital and phone interactions and the ability to work effectively and considerately with a diverse group of people. A forward-thinking approach with a strategic mindset to fuel revenue growth is imperative.
The ReStore is a retail social enterprise that sells donated furniture, appliances, cabinetry, lighting, building materials and more at discounted prices to the public to generate important revenue supporting Habitat for Humanity of Greater Plymouth's mission of building affordable home locally.

= Team-oriented leader with ability to develop and empower staff for optimum organizational performance
= Forward-thinking, innovative, self-starter with a growth mindset to achieve ambitious financial, operational and marketing goals
= Energetic ambassador of Habitat’s affordable housing mission
= Demonstrated ability in training, managing, leading and developing staff; experience in supervising successful teams with accountability for meeting objectives.
= Strong interpersonal skills, dealing well with a variety of people and personalities
= Proficiency in delivering excellent customer service
= Strong public speaking skills
= Physical ability to perform tasks, including lifting at least 75+ pounds; ability to stand for long periods of time.
= Basic knowledge and competency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and email
= Working knowledge of value of second-hand and/or new furniture and building supplies (and/or knowledge of research techniques) for re-sale pricing purposes
= Attendance at occasional community outreach events will be required.
= Standing schedule of 4-5 days per week includes weekdays and Saturdays.
