Job Description
Summary/objective
The Inventory Data
Entry/Secretary is responsible for compiling and maintaining records of type,
and value of equipment for both Lawton and Frederick campuses.
Essential functions
- Input and compares inventories
to office records or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory
- Verifies clerical computations
against physical count and adjust errors or investigates and reports
reasons for discrepancies
- Prepares inventory reports for
each program, and total assets for the entire school, to include both
campuses
- Prepares list of defective or
unusable items
- Responsible for shipping and
receiving packages, to include assigning inventory bar codes to equipment
when received
- Maintain inventory of keys, for
school buildings and school vehicles
- Stock custodial supplies
- Maintain SDS binders
- Assist with telephones

other stakeholders.
Computer Skills: Possess intermediate computer
skills and be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.

None
Work environment
The position typically works in an office environment,
but the mission of the school may require work in other settings. A standard
workweek is required but work outside set hours may be required as needed.
Physical demands
While performing the
duties of the job, the employee is frequently required to remain stationary,
move/position objects, move about the office, building and/or across campus.
The employee is frequently required to lift, move, or position objects up to 50
pounds, The position is required to communicate with staff, students, customers
and others regularly. Employee is required to perform extensive work at the
computer display terminal.
Travel required
Occasional travel within and outside of the Great
Plains Technology Center district may be required for sponsorship of student
activities, professional development, and participation in other Great Plains
Technology Center activities.
