Wood Animal Hospital has been dedicated to providing the best possible care for
our clients and their pets for over 40 years. In that time, we have grown to a
four veterinarian practice with board certified veterinarians, and a highly
skilled support team to care for our canine and feline patients.We are currently seeking a Veterinary Technician/Assistant /
Exam Room Assistant / Receptionist/Kennel Assistant. Customer service
experience is highly valued, preferably in the health care industry.
Responsibilities include telephone work, computer work, client
& patient contact, and a very high attention to detail. The main purpose of
the Veterinary Assistant portion is to assist veterinarians with patient care
and treatment, monitor hospitalized pets, prepare occasional prescriptions,
perform routine in-house lab work, educate clients regarding veterinary care
and procedures and assist with surgical procedures.
The successful candidate will have solid communication skills,
and a team orientation.
