We have an exciting full-time
opportunity for a Social Media Marketing Specialist/Content Writer. This individual will be responsible for
creating and/or developing a wide variety of marketing content, including
newsletters, Website, blog posts, social media posts, print materials,
advertising and more. The selected individual will work with the marketing
manager to identify key focus areas and develop a social media strategy
highlighting those areas. The Social
Media Marketing Specialist/Content Writer must be adept at creating written and
visual content quickly, reply to online reviews tactfully and enthusiastically,
and respond to messages on Facebook in a timely manner, both during and outside
of work hours. The ideal candidate will
be smart, creative, accountable, and willing to go the extra mile.
Our Social Media Marketing
Specialist/Content Writer must have a strong working knowledge of grammar,
punctuation, and style rules and when those rules can be bent. They will also research
trends in social media strategies, SEO, and content marketing and collaborate
with the other members of the Marketing team.
Responsibilities:
Copywriting
Write conversational content for a wide variety
of print and electronic media
Proofread - Review and edit print and electronic
materials for correct grammar, punctuation, style, and meaning in a timely
manner
Write effective copy that also incorporates SEO
(Search Engine Optimization) content.
Bring creativity to projects, display an
understanding of the importance of details, and consistently require little to
no modification
Exceptional business writing skills and able to
visualize as well as convey a message into relevant and interesting content
Social Media
Participate in peer reviews and be open to receiving
constructive feedback. Possess forward thinking and an ability to communicate
new ideas
Responsible for successful execution of all
social media activities (i.e. tweeting, sharing, engaging, liking, increasing
social reach, doing the heavy lifting, etc.) to advance the business goals of
the bank on the daily basis. Seek new ways to leverage social media platforms
and increase engagement and followers
Ability to respond quickly to responses,
complaints and questions through multiple social media platforms on a daily
basis
Identify, create, and edit images that reflect
the bank’s style using Photoshop and Illustrator
Conduct competitive analysis studies on
competitors
Marketing
Work directly with Website Developer to maintain
Web content and to coordinate the deployment of landing pages, promotional
pages, and blog posts
Work with others to ensure customers’ online
issues are adequately addressed and resolved
Exhibit technical skills and have an
understanding of each platform and how to use it to best suit the company’s
needs
