The Program Director is responsible for the YMCA pools and MRC programming. This position must be forward thinking in programming and organizing member-focused aquatic programs. Ensuring customer service, cleanliness, safety, and trining requirements are met at all times. Applicant will create and organize high quality MRC arts and leisure programs. The applicant will also be in charge of hiring and managing highly qualified instructors for all MRC arts and leisure programs. The applicant will be required to manage aquatic coordinator, lifeguards, and swim lesson instructors at the YMCA.
Responsibilities would include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Provides all staff with year round current training including CPR/AED/First Aid, Lifeguarding, and other necessary training.
SALARY: Dependent upon expereience and qualifications. Employment is contingent upon passing background check.
