2016 AUTUMN TRAIN EXCURSIONS

Watauga Valley Railroad Historical Society & Museum and NC Transportation Museum will be co-sponsoring their 2016 AUTUMN TRAIN EXCURSIONS in October.

Sat Oct 29, 2016 - "Virginia Autumn Special" from Spencer and Greensboro, NC to Charlottesville, VA

Passengers will experience beautiful views of the Piedmont and rolling hills of the Carolinas and the western part of Central Virginia.

Sun Oct 30, 2016 - "Georgia Autumn Special" from Spencer, NC and Spartanburg, SC to Toccoa, GA

Nestled into the foothills of the Southern Appalachian Mountains, the historic town of Toccoa will be bustling with activity during the 40th annual Harvest Festival. Passengers will have approximately three hours to enjoy this annual festival and can take continuous shuttle buses to beautiful Toccoa Falls.
