The Commanding General's Challenge Community Walk/ Run
- The
Commanding General's Challenge Community Walk/ Run ( flyer attached)
is an opportunity for the entire community to get involved in fitness on
Oct. 26th. The walk begins and ends on Fort Sill's Polo Field. The
walk/run , which begins at 1:30 p.m., is open to the public and is held in
conjunction with the Southwestern Oklahoma community and local schools.
Everyone is encouraged to participate - either on Polo Field or at their
locations.
- In
addition to the walk/run, participants will be able to participate in a
health and wellness fair which will include; fitness class demonstrations
and static wellness displays beginning at 12 p.m. at Polo Field.
- If
you plan on coming and do not have a DOD issued ID, please come a little
early to receive your Visitor’s Pass to gain access to Fort Sill at the
Visitor Control Center (just outside Bentley Gate, 6701 Sheridan Road,
Fort Sill, OK) : http://sill-www.army.mil/vcc/
