On January 25, 2020, we will hold Freezin' for a Reason. The event will be all about having fun and helping our community keep the New Year's resolution of being more active all while raising funds for the American Cancer Society and the fight against cancer.
Wait? Why is it called "Freezin' for a Reason?" Freezin because, well, its January. Reason being two-fold - continuing the fight against cancer AND that New Year's resolution!
We will start the morning off at 10 am with a 1K, 2K, or 3K run. (And, we use the word run loosely.) You get to choose which length is the right one for you! And, it doesn't matter if you walk, hop, skip, run, or anything in between, the idea is to get you moving!
Freezin' for a Reason will happen on January 25, 2020 beginning at 10 am at Bentley Gardens at Cameron University. We will have packet pick up the evening of the 24th from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Maple Room at Comanche County Memorial Hospital and starting at 9 am on the 25th at the Aggie Mile at Cameron University.
Registration is $25 on or before January 2, 2020 and $35 on or after January 3, 2020. For the registration fee, you will receive a long-sleeved Freezin' for a Reason t-shirt and a Freezin' running bib!
