The Lawton Community Theatre will hold auditions for the musical, Peter Pan, on Monday and Tuesday, April 8 and 9, at 7pm.
This is a Mainstage musical and all auditioners will be required to sing at least 16 measures of a song with accompaniment. A piano accompanist will be provided if auditioners bring sheet music. They may also use a CD, phone, or electronic device but the accompaniment must be WITHOUT a voice track. No one will be allowed to sing acapella.
Auditioners must wear shoes appropriate for stage movement. No bare feet, sandals, clogs, wedges, or any open toed shoes will be allowed on stage.
Auditioners should be aware that rehearsals are typically Monday through Friday, 7-10pm until the show opens. Please bring your calendar to auditions because you will be asked to list any conflicts you might have with the schedule.
Director Cynthia Kent, Choreographer Dr. James Brock, and Musical Director Linda Chapman are looking forward to working with you. This is guaranteed to be a fun show.
