The Native Hippy
Gallery, also known as NH GALLERY, will host a grand opening from 6:30-8:30
p.m. Nov. 22. The gallery is located at 2704 W. Gore.
Shailah Red Elk
is the owner of NH Gallery and will give the opening remarks at 7 p.m. The
public is welcome to come enjoy refreshments and listen to live music performed
by local talent.
Red Elk’s goal for the gallery is to display local artists and give their work a unique home at NH Gallery. It is her desire to present items that are one of a kind. The gallery will display work of local, hidden talents like Morgan Carroll, Debbie Ambrose, Linsey Bernard, Mike Martine, Mikel Davison, Two Eagles Norberto, Steve Southerland, Katrina Thompson and Rikki Schumann.
“The gallery is edgy unique, fresh and never seen in Lawton,” Red Elk said. “I value locality and want everyone to think outside the ‘what-you-see-everyday’ box.”
