Stories Love Music will present a free workshop for both family and professional caregivers who care for seniors with memory impairment, dementia and Alzheimer’s. The workshop, The Joy of Creative Engagement, will be held at MAC Inc. in Salisbury on Thursday, Oct. 17, 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.The program addresses caregiver burnout and
offers creative tips and tools for caregiving.
Advance registration is encouraged and include
lunch. Limited respite care is available to those who register separately by
Oct. 10. Program registration will be accepted after Oct. 14 but will not
include lunch.
Attendees will learn to address burnout and
stress associated with caregiving, receive creative tools to apply to
caregiving and meet other caregivers.
