Chamber Calendar

The McPherson Chamber of Commerce and Kansas Municipal Utilities have partnered to host a Legislative Meet & Greet scheduled for Saturday, March 3rd at 9:00 a.m. The meet and greet provides area citizens an opportunity to get an update on legislative activity during the 2018 legislative session. The meet and greet will be held at the Kansas Municipal Utilities office located at 2090 E. Avenue A.

Senator Rick Wilborn and Representatives Les Mason, Don Schroeder and Steven Johnson have been confirmed to attend. The format of the meeting will consist of updates and remarks and questions from the audience. The meet and greet is open to the public and free of charge. Light refreshments will be served.

This interactive workshop includes: How to successfully manage Change, Strategies to overcome negativity, and Information that is great for your entire team. 

$25 for Chamber of Commerce members and $30 for non-members.  Lunch is included.

The Mac County Round Up is sponsored by the McPherson Chamber of Commerce Agriculture Committee to fund an Agriculture of America Scholarship.  

Date: Saturday, April 21st, 2018
Check-in is from 7-7:30 a.m.
Race starts at 8:00 a.m. from the McPherson High School, 801 E. First St.
All ages are encouraged to participate. Participants can run or walk either event, however, the course will close at 8:45 a.m. and awards will be presented by 9:00 a.m.

Entry fee:
5 K Run or Walk is $25 if registered before April 6th; or $30 if registered after April 6th
1 Mile Run/Walk is $20 if registered before April 6th; or $25 if registered after April 6th

Awards: The top 3 male and female 5K finishers will be awarded unique prizes of cuts of meat!! 1 mile participants will not be time or receive awards.
