Kathy Hamilton-Dix, Advisory Board Member of the Shawnee Indian Mission Foundation. 

Kathy was the Secretary of the " Friends of the Mission"  which  morphed into the SIM Foundation.  

Kathy's job description is also " Event Planner" and has developed many new events at the Mission , 

including the " Mission Chili Cook-Off"  , and has continued master planning the Annual Fall Festival 

at the Mission for the last 7 years.  

Leland has been in the commercial furniture industry for more than 17 years, starting out in retail sales and then transitioning to commercial sales. An Eagle Scout & veteran of the First Gulf War, where he served in the Army as an Intelligence Analyst, Leland also earned a B.S. in Sociology with a minor in Human Services from The University of Central Missouri.  He worked 5 years as a Social Worker for long-term care facilities, but eventually transitioned into the furniture industry.  Leland brings dedication, integrity, and attention to detail to our Government & Education team.  He is a collaborative listener and strives to understand and meet his clients’ needs to ensure their satisfaction in a job well done.  Leland takes pride in identifying potential problems & applying solutions so installation is completed without any difficulties.
