The Local Seen by Plymouth Area Community Media is a nonprofit community media center serving the towns of Plymouth, Pembroke, Kingston, Duxbury, and the South Shore region of Massachusetts. We reflect the interests, issues, and perspectives of our communities by covering local issues and resources, supporting small businesses and nonprofits, and amplifying local voices and stories through our award-winning news division. We preserve democracy through transparency by providing gavel-to-gavel coverage of local government meetings, and are committed to the concept of community media as a powerful tool for education, in the form of media training, and content that informs residents about the services, resources, and cultural experiences available to them. Our mission is to amplify voices and connect community through education and local, unbiased, and noncommercial media that informs, empowers, and entertains.
