A registered dental hygienist who is a graduate of a Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) accredited program plus a Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) Certified dental assistant OR a dentist who is a graduate of a Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) accredited program and has a clear understanding of dental assisting/hygiene education and experience working with dental assistants/hygienists.
Meet certification, registration or licensure required to practice in the state of North Dakota or have the ability to obtain such.
Meet the instructor credentialing requirements of the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
A master’s degree or higher.
A minimum of three full time or five part time years(6,000 hours) of recent experience as a dental hygienist or a dentist.
Able to instruct, assess, and evaluate dental assisting and dental hygiene student learning and performance following CODA standards.
Ability to appropriately and sufficiently relate well to students, colleagues, and external partners.
