The SACC and the SACC Education Committee present a Community Forum on education and related areas that impact the public and private education institutions in our region.

This ninety-minute forum will feature two panels to include educators, institutional representatives, healthcare experts, business leaders. Salisbury Mayor Jacob Day will be the keynote speaker.

The April General Membership Luncheon will feature a Maryland State Comptroller Candidate Forum.

The candidates for Maryland State Comptroller have been invited to attend a Q&A session where they will address a series of questions from a panel representing The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce, The Greater Salisbury Committee, and PACE at Salisbury University.

The panels will include candidates City of Bowie Mayor Tim Adams, Delegate Brooke Lierman, and Harford County Executive Barry Glassman.

Join us as we hear:

• the candidate's views on how Maryland's tax structure helps or hurts the business climate Statewide

• about the role the Comptroller plays as one of the three members of the State Board of Public Works

• what changes each candidate will make, if elected, in order to keep Maryland competitive

• answers to additional audience questions

The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce and Chesapeake Utilities are pleased to present the 2022 MD General Assembly Post Legislative Session Forum, featuring the mid and lower Eastern Shore Legislative Delegation.

The three candidates, incumbent County Executive John Psota (R), and challengers Julie Giordano (R), and County Council Vice President Ernest Davis (D) will address topics ranging from the County Budget, investment in the Wicomico County Public Schools, public safety, economic development and tourism opportunities, workforce housing, and infrastructure opportunities and challenges moving forward.
