The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce will host the 2020 State of the Schools luncheon January 27, at 11:30 a.m. at Parkside High School, presented by First Shore Federal and Comcast.

The luncheon is an opportunity to hear an address by Superintendent of Wicomico County Public Schools, Donna Hanlin. Hanlin will discuss achievements and areas in need of improvement throughout the county, as well as plans for success in the upcoming future. 

This event is open to the public and will be catered by the Wicomico County CTE students.

Tickets to attend are $25 for SACC members and $35 for future members.

Table sponsorships are available for $300.

The breakfast will begin at 8:00AM on Wednesday January 29th at  the beautiful Wildflower Estate Farm in Mardela Springs Maryland, just ten minutes from Downtown Salisbury.

James “Bo” McAllister, Clerk of the Court for Wicomico County, will officiate the swearing in ceremony and offer remarks. Network and enjoy a delicious full course breakfast catered by Chamber member Vittles Catering.

This event will feature UNLIMITED TASTINGS of one-of-a-kind beers and small batch brews from local breweries and food by The Corner Grill.

This event is part of the State of Maryland's FeBREWary! 

Tickets can be purchased at the door for $40 and include unlimited tastings, food and a tasting glass. 

Designated Driver Tickets can also be purchased at the door for $15.

Comptroller Franchot and the State of Maryland are investing $150 million dollars in a new, state of the art, integrated tax system.

Once fully implemented, COMPASS will change the way taxpayers interact with the Comptroller’s Office. 

COMPASS, Maryland's new tax system upgrade, will be more secure, more efficient and more user-friendly than ever before.
