The Ward Museum and local businesses welcome the community to a celebration of the winter season. A FREE holiday social event paired with Pop Up Art for the creative in you. The lobby and grounds will be decked out for the holidays offering a perfect setting for a community gathering in honor of the season. Don’t miss out on the chance to have your picture taken with Santa & make delightful winter crafts.

The New Year’s Eve celebration will begin with a dinner buffet at the resort’s Water’s Edge Grill.  The meal will feature a variety of dining options ranging from BBQ-braised beef brisket and gourmet chicken pot pies to chicken posole and teriyaki street noodles.

Throughout the evening, families can enjoy several activities including an inflatable obstacle course and slides, laser tag set up in one of the resort’s ballrooms, carnival games, a roving magic show, indoor mini golf, and an early balloon drop countdown at 9 p.m. with an apple cider toast. 

The resort will also feature a “Teens Lounge” set up with karaoke, music and a dance floor, as well as several gaming consoles and video games that will be available throughout the night.

Adult revelers can dance the night away at a DJ dance party featuring a live video stream of the New Year’s Eve celebration in Times Square.  They can also enjoy an adults-only lounge featuring a premium bar, signature craft cocktails, a cigar bar, and a live feed of the college football bowl game.  The celebration will also feature a balloon drop and champagne toast at midnight.

• Business Before Hours meetings include structured member introductions, an exchange of business needs, and open networking activities.
• All current members and their guests are welcome to attend BBH. NO NEED TO RSVP.
• After attending BBH, you may want to connect with a SACC Lead Share group. These traditional referral networking groups offer exclusive access to other business professionals who may have the connection you are seeking.
• These groups meet weekly, at different times and days. We will help you join a group that suits your business category and schedule.

Participation in the Woodcarving Club is FREE!
Participants must also be current members of the Ward Museum.
Members must bring own materials to Carving Club.

If you’ve always wanted to learn how to crochet, here’s your chance to learn. No experience needed for this class. Fiber arts enthusiast Lara Nagle will teach you how to hold the hook, what to do with the yarn and some basic stitches.

The Comptroller will address the upcoming 2020 Maryland General Assembly Session, the initiatives his office is undertaking for citizens and businesses on the Lower Shore, and an outlook on Maryland’s economy for the upcoming year.
