Melissa Mitchell
joined HealthLinc in 2008 and has been instrumental in the growth of the
organization and its impact on health care in the region. She has held multiple
positions, including Managed Care
Specialist, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Innovation and Strategy
Officer before becoming the Chief Executive Officer in 2024.
In 2014, she
graduated from the Johnson & Johnson Health Care Executive Program at UCLA.
She currently serves as Chair for the (NACHC) National Association of Community
Health Centers and Intergy user group.
A
native of Indiana and graduate of Ball
State University with a BS in communications, Melissa lives in Knox with her husband and three
children. She is active in the community as a member of Victory
Christian Church in Knox and on the Ivy Tech South Bend campus IT Advisory
Committee.
Melissa has worked to make
HealthLinc a nationally respected and often-modeled community health center
that makes a difference in the quality of life for so many living in northern
Indiana.
