Our mission at Robin’s Nest Rescue is to provide sanctuary for neglected or abused animals; we also hope to ultimately use that growing collection of rescue animals to provide education and advocacy concerning the gravity of animal protection measures and the critical significance of animal-human bonds.  Our vision is to grow and nurture our collection of rescue animals and, through active learning experiences, share with others the positive healing of animal-human bonds.

Sustainable Ramona is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit corporation organized to foster sustainability in Ramona. The mission of Sustainable Ramona is to lead the transition to a sustainable climate with a healthy economy via education, connections, projects, promotions, and ultimately a profitable, independent electricity-producing area (microgrid).


As of Fall 2023, the group has sponsored educational forums on the San Diego County climate action plan, water conservation, waste management, worm farming, composting, electric houses, and renewable energy along with the two annual Earth Day Festivals and the first annual Harvest Day Festival.
