In a major move, award-winning photographers and video producers, Benjamin Lowy and Marvi Lacar have relocated to McAllen, TX and set up shop to serve clients in the Rio Grande Valley, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, and Dallas areas.

The husband-and-wife duo, who run the New York-based photography studio and video production company Lowy+Lacar, are renowned for their dynamic aesthetic style that tells compelling stories. Their work has been featured in publications like The New York Times, Time, and National Geographic, among others. Their clients include companies like Sony, American Express, Humana and media organizations like Turner, Discovery, Disney.

Speaking about their decision to move to McAllen, Lacar cited the importance of being close to family.

"McAllen was a place where we knew we could raise our boys near their grandma, be in a safe community with great school districts" said Lacar "We're excited to immerse ourselves in the community, get to know the people and explore the area."

Lowy added that the move would also allow them to explore new photographic themes and techniques, as well as expand their client base.

"We're always looking for new challenges and opportunities to grow as artists," he said. "Texas is a vast and varied state with so much to offer, and we're eager to explore its many facets and to make creative images that capture its essence and its residents."

The duo is looking forward to applying their documentary-style of visual storytelling to the corporate, healthcare, travel and lifestyle industries.

As they settle into their new home in McAllen, Ben and Marvi say they're excited to be part of a vibrant community of artists that are passionate about their craft.

"McAllen is a growing community and we're thrilled to be a part of it," said Lowy. "We can't wait to start capturing the people and places in Texas that make this state unique."
