Troy, MI
03/03/2023 02:53 PM

This Spring, hop on over to the Troy Historic Village for some ‘egg’stra special fun. The Village is inviting families to their annual Village Egg Hunt Friday March 24th from 4:00-8:00pm and Saturday March 25th from 10:00am-3:00pm.

“Families return to our Community Events year after year because they find it’s a full experience for kids” says Village Executive Director Jen Peters. “This isn’t a ‘dash and done’ egg hunt; you’ll spend about an hour with us as you travel around the Village finding eggs, crafts, treats, and games. We really work on making it the right fit for kids aged 2-6 but encourage all ages to join us!”

Children are invited to play indoor and outdoor games and make a make a “bunny door” craft. They will get to collect eggs and trade them in at the bunny trading post for treats. Kids can test their skills with the ever popular Hop-stacle course and Carrot Toss. Activites are spread throughout the Village to create an egg’celent experience for the entire family!

“This will be our third year hosting an egg hunt” says Youth Programs Director Alex Konieczny, “Events like these are really important to the Village because it gives us a chance to engage with families in our community and do something fun for them. We love to see the kids who have been here on field trips come back with their familes and give them the tour during programs like Egg Hunt and Trick-or-Treat”

Village Egg Hunt will be held rain or shine. The event features free onsite parking at the Village, as well as free overflow parking at Brookfield Academy just a short walk down the street. For discounted event pricing, guests may purchase their Egg Hunt admission by midnight on Thursday, March 23rd at https://www.troyhistoricvillage.org/programs/village-egg-hunt.
