Do You Need a Substance Abuse Evaluation to Restore Your Driver’s License in Michigan?

Substance Abuse Evaluations:

In Michigan, if you were convicted of a DUI and want to restore your driver’s license then you will have to go through a driver’s license restoration hearing with the Driver Assessment & Appeal Division (DAAD).  They will require that you obtain a substance abuse evaluation. The fee for a Substance Abuse Evaluation is $299.00

 

Alcohol Assessments:

In Michigan, if you are required to get an alcohol assessment / Michigan alcohol screening test, a detailed assessment must be completed which will require you to answer a series of questions.  The answers to these questions will assist us with understanding your prognosis. The completion of this service is required in order for New Day Counseling Services to provide required documentation. The fee for an Alcohol Assessment is $199.00

Substance abuse and addiction are serious issues that can lead to negative consequences in every area of living if not treated.  The good news is that there is hope and help. Substance abuse counseling can help you to break free from the grips of addiction. It provides the kind of support, direction, and help that can make the difference in your mental and physical health, relationships, and overall outlook. Regular counseling rates/Sliding Scale fees apply, may be covered by health insurance.
