bia Center, the City of Troy, Troy Downtown Development Authority, Kurtis Kitchen & Bath, Meadowbrook Insurance Agency, & Hagerty Insurance. KIRCO Chairman, Alan Kiriluk, who personally secures several of the vehicles for the car show says, “the support we have from the automotive community makes the Traffic Jam a special show for me. Each year some of the best cars (and car owners) come together to showcase their prized vehicles. We are delighted to support the Troy Historic Village because we know we’re helping provide a learning experience for over 30,000 children and visitors per year through their programing.”

The Troy Traffic Jam has featured high profile vehicles that have drawn the attention of car enthusiasts and media alike including Road & Track who live-streamed from the event the past several years. 2021’s TTJ specialty vehicles included a 2017 Chevrolet COPO Camaro and a flawless 1970 Pontiac GTO. The 2022 Traffic Jam promises more exciting and rare vehicles including four Ferraris and 1965 Cobra replica with a genuine 1966 427 side oiler, top loader 4 speed and inboard disc brake Jag rear end. A 1923 Indy Car will take a space next to Detroit Grand Prix and Van Diemen Continental Race Cars. Stahl’s Automotive Museum located in Mt. Clemens will remind us that electric vehicles are not a new concept! Visitors will get the chance to compare some of the latest EVs to Stahl’s antique 1914 Rauch and Lang Electric.

There will be plenty of great food and beverages from Mikey’s and Uptown Catering, with refreshing treats from the AAA Ice Cream Cart. Music will be presented by Mammoth Entertainment, and WWJ will be broadcasting live from the event. Check in with Cruis’n Media, Road & Track, and Nowicki Autosport as you take in the show. Other event sponsors will feature give aways and drawings at their tents. Look for Meadowbrook’s drawing for a premier Armor All car washing kit and battery tender as well as Bongiorno Creative Jeweler’s drawing for diamond earrings valued at $1,200. And don’t miss one of Automation Alley’s 3D printer presentations as they share how it is revolutionizing the auto industry. You might even get to take home your own 3D printed souvenir!

The Troy Traffic Jam continues to be a family friendly, community event. Somerset Collection’s KidZone activities include a show scavenger hunt and face painting and kid’s tattoos by Sparkles the Clown. Troy Fire and Police will have giveaways and kids are encouraged to vote for their favorite show car. Troy’s First Robotics teams will bring their award-winning robots back again this year, giving kids a chance to drive and interact with them. Troy Historic Village Executive Director Jen Peters notes that, “Our family-friendly atmosphere makes us a unique car show and demonstrates again how the Village makes learning fun for all ages.”
