Last year was a busy and productive year for the Boosters and we are looking to dive in again and do even more this year. The Booster Club works to raise funds to help ALL of our student athletes. We do this through membership dues, individual donations, 50/50 raffle tickets at all home football and boys’ basketball games and through our new Booster Club cash raffle that we’ll be running for the third year. We are counting on your support again this year. Since 2017, we have been able to contribute over $120,000 to team’s needs – equipment, uniforms, repairs for equipment, signage and facilities. This is not possible without you. Included with this letter you will find a membership form and a raffle ticket order form to send in if you’d like to purchase raffle tickets. The deadline for purchase of raffle tickets is October 8th, so please pay attention to that date. The drawing will be held on Friday, October 14th. You can contact the athletic department for tickets, reach out to any coach or Booster board member. Our membership price has remained the same for as long as we can remember. With your $20 membership ($15 for senior citizens), you will receive a discount card that entitles you to discounts at many area businesses. We have a spot for you to make an additional donation should you be so inclined, and you can indicate if you’d like that to go to the general fund or towards our scholarship fund. We have an “ASK” of you this year. If you know of any parents that aren’t Booster members, please encourage them to join. If you have a recent MCHS graduate, or a recent college graduate that is from MCHS, even alumni of Elston and Rogers, please encourage them to join the Booster Club. We need to continue to grow our membership so that we can keep providing for our athletes.
