An Old
Fashioned Pie Social! It is time
for the Annual Pie Social at the Wimberley Valley Museum on Saturday, April 27
from 11:00am – 3:00pm. A Pie Competition covering 5 different categories is a part of the activity with Judging taking place that morning for Fruit,
Cream, Nut, Specialty & Kid’s Pies. Ribbons will be given for 1st, 2nd
and 3rd places in each category.
A Grand Prize for Best Pie will receive a special award and all winning
pies will be auctioned. Slices of pie
and hot dogs will also be available to purchase. Pies submitted for judging need to arrive at
the Community Center 8:30-9:30am that day.
The attendance is free and all funds raised from selling slices
of pies, hot dogs and the auction will go directly to the Museum. A Pie Eating Contest will also be a
part of the day along with music provided by Marvin & Laura Bottera. If pie, hot dogs and music aren’t enough, other
Fun & Games will be happening as well.
