McKee’s Land Management has been in the works since mine and my wife’s high school days when we were just two kids mowing yards on the weekend for gas money. 15 years, a marriage and a couple kids later “Corey and Tori’s Landscaping” has evolved into “McKee’s Land Management”.

We offer things such as septic installation, repair and inspections, soil and leach field, decompression, dirt work, driveways, culverts, grading, hauling, brush hogging and removal, shed and garage pads and footings and so much more. We have a wide array of skills and a very deep tool chest.

We’re happy to serve members of our community.

Mississippi Hippie opened in the summer of 2018 in the historic Mineral Springs Hotel, offering the local area an authentic counterculture home for hippie and boho clothing, jewelry, and Grateful Dead items. The following year, Fred Pollard opened Mom Said No in Mineral Springs, featuring classic toys, horror merch, vintage comics and gift ideas.

In the fall of 2020, Pollard purchased Mississippi Hippie, and since that time has owned and operated both businesses. In March of 2024, both shops relocated just across the street to 300 East Broadway, merging the two shops into one large space while retaining each one’s identity and vibe.

The mission of Mississippi Valley Christian School is to assist parents in fulfilling their God-given responsibility of training their children to be conformed to the image of Christ spiritually, academically, socially, and physically in order to fulfill the Great Commission.

The school teaches students from grades K4 (bridge between preschool and kindergarten) through twelve. It has an ongoing enrollment of around 100 students and a student-to-teacher ratio of just nine to one. The school is available to Christian families who desire to pursue a Christian education for their children.
