services firms in Singapore, overseeing marketing, sales, business/creative
strategy, plus alliances for co-production & distribution of entertainment
properties. Supervised production & sales of TV programs, including
repurposing major Hollywood animated series for redistribution in US market.
As A/P head for UK start-up Sarantel, created demand for GPS solutions in
consumer mobility products. Set up Asia operations directing strategy,
marketing and sales, channel partners and manufacturing alliances. In under 3 years,
grew A/P revenues to 85% of Sarantel’s total annual turn-over, enabling
successful $33M IPO on London Stock Exchange in March 2005.
20 years with AT&T/Lucent Technologies with roles from public affairs to
project management, leading mega deal negotiations (US$2B in total) w/ multiple
customers across Asia, Europe and Americas. Exiting in 2001 as A/P Marketing
AVP responsible for network solutions offers to telecom operators and ISPs.
Earlier in career, advanced rapidly through a series of assignments at AT&T
International in an executive leadership program.
