Throughout the world, the YWCA has organizations in 122 countries, serving 25 million women and their families.  YWCA Bristol stands alone as the only YWCA in the territory between Lynchburg, VA and Knoxville, TN. Our local organization anchors itself firmly to the world-wide organization through our mission and programming. Established in 1943, YWCA Bristol has a long history of empowering women and families throughout the region.

YWCA Bristol serves the Tri-Cities region through Emerge, a professional development series for women; TechGYRLS, a STEM based after school program for girls; Moms-R-Us, a teen pregnancy education program; YW Child Care Center, one of the region’s only sliding-scale fee child care centers; YW Fitness Spa, a fitness facility dedicated to promoting women’s health and safety; and much more. 

Recently, YWCA Bristol opened the Bristol Bridal Station. Bristol Bridal Station offers new, affordable, couture bridal, bridesmaid and evening gowns for sale to the public. Proceeds from Bristol Bridal Station directly support the mission and programs of YWCA Bristol.
