Founded in 2003, JMA Wastewater Services, Inc. is a privately-owned company servicing the wastewater treatment and septic system pumping needs of homeowners in an area covering Hays and surrounding counties.
James M. Ashman, owner of the company, has been involved in the wastewater treatment business since 2002, when he started working for a reputable installation company assisting in installations and system maintenance. As his former employer's business increased, he encouraged Mr. Ashman to obtain State and County licensing and start his own company. Their personal and business relationship has remained amicable, and they enjoy working together in common projects.
At present, James Ashman is licensed by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality as an Installer Level 2 (OS2). In addition, Mr. Ashman is a Certified Maintenance Provider via certification from the Texas On-Site Wastewater Association.
