School Community Partnership is a dynamic group of educators, local leaders and organizations who gather regularly to discuss topics of concern and opportunity in our community.
The mission is to improve the quality of life for every individual by linking home, school and community through communication and collaboration.
Network between agencies, civic organizations, individual citizens and schools for the purpose of creating a sense of community.
Promote cooperation and collaboration to address current community issues.
Support and enrich lifelong learning activities for all citizens.
Provide leadership training and educational opportunities for CECAC members and the community.
School Community Partnership began as a collaboration between Birmingham Public Schools, Birmingham Community Education and other school-based organizations. Since then, it has expanded to include a wide variety of community schools, organizations and individuals.
