Birmingham’s Lincoln Hills Golf Course Now Open

BIRMINGHAM, Mich., April 2, 2019 - Spring is officially here and temperatures are warming, which means golfers are swinging into action at Birmingham’s Lincoln Hills Golf Course. Springdale Golf Course is scheduled to open on Saturday, April 6.

Discounted spring rates are in effect through Friday, April 12. Throughout April, Birmingham’s golf courses are open to everyone; no membership required. Golfers may purchase or renew their membership pass at Lincoln Hills Golf Course (2666 W. 14 Mile) or Springdale Golf Course (316 Strathmore). Resident and Non-Resident memberships are available at both courses. Pricing is as follows:

Resident Membership - First time membership is $15 per resident; $10 per resident to renew annually.... Read more

Chamber Music @ Bloomfield Township Public Library is a popular program series at the library.  Please join us for an evening of music on Friday, April 12, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. (after Library hours).

The evening program includes Trio Pathétique in D Minor for Clarinet, Bassoon and Piano by Mikhail Glinka; Contrasts for Clarinet, Violin and Piano, Sz, 111, BB 116 (1938) by Béla Bartók, and much more.

The special talent for this concert includes:

Laura Gamboa has played the violin since age four, and attended the Cleveland Institute of Music where she studied violin performance with Joan Kwuon and David Updegraff and music theory with Dr. Timothy Cutler. She is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Violin Performance as a fellowship recipient at the University of Michigan and has spent five summers at the Aspen Music Festival and School, studying with Naoko Tanaka and Sylvia Rosenberg of the Juilliard School and Cornelia Heard of Vanderbilt University. She has played chamber music with members of the Cleveland Quartet, Brentano Quartet, and Ying Quartet.... Read more

Troy, Mich -- March 19, 2019 -- SSDM, a nationally recognized digital marketing agency, has won two out the three awards for which it was shortlisted in the annual Interactive Marketing Awards (IMA) competition. This is the second year in a row that SSDM was a finalist for all three of its submissions.
