Northwest Bank Names Kristen Mekulsia South Central PA Region President

Kristen Mekulsia, an experienced banker with more than 20 years in the Harrisburg, York and Lancaster markets, has been named president of Northwest Bank’s South Central PA Region. John Golding, senior executive vice president, Consumer and Small Business Banking, made the announcement.

In her new role, Ms. Mekulsia will oversee and lead business development, community relations and customer experience initiatives across Northwest’s South Central PA Region, comprised of 28 full-service offices across Cambria, Centre, Clinton, Dauphin, Huntingdon, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lycoming, Mifflin and York counties.  In collaboration with her team and partners in Mortgage, Trust and Investment services, she will focus on surrounding the people and businesses in her region with the solutions and advice they need to bank, borrow, invest and plan.

In making the announcement, Mr. Golding said, “We’re pleased to welcome Kristen to our team.  She is a talented banker who is well-known across the market, and her insight and energy will ensure we continue to build upon the momentum we’ve established across our South Central PA Region.”

Ms. Mekulsia has an extensive background in consumer banking, and, a native of York, has spent most of her life in the York and Lancaster areas.  She received her degree in specialized business management from Consolidated School of Business of York.

Actively engaged in her community, Ms. Mekulsia is a graduate of Leadership Lancaster and has served as a board member for Hands-On House of Lancaster.
