Lebanon Valley College (LVC) and the Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce have announced a partnership to offer an exclusive education benefit to the Chamber’s nearly 775 member businesses and their employees. Through the Tuition Discount Program, employees who work for member businesses that are in good standing with the Chamber will be eligible to receive a 10% tuition discount on select LVC Graduate & Professional Studies programs. These programs include Graduate & Professional Studies Post-Bachelors Certificate Programs, the Master of Business Administration Program, and Professional Development Pathways Programs (non-credit courses). Members will be able to take courses, depending on the program, at one of LVC’s current onsite locations in Harrisburg (Dixon University Center), the Lancaster IU-13, the main campus in Annville, or online.

Chamber member employees interested in taking advantage of the Tuition Discount Program must complete a membership verification form available at the Chamber’s office located at 604 Cumberland Street in Lebanon or online at www.lvchamber.org/tuitiondiscount. After processing the form, the Chamber will submit it to LVC’s Office of Graduate & Professional Studies. Completion of this process and eligibility to receive the tuition discount is contingent on admission through LVC and acceptance into the eligible program(s). Students will be required to verify that they are employed by a Chamber member every new academic year by resubmitting the member verification form.

“Workforce readiness and education at all levels and ages has been a priority and commitment of the Lebanon Valley Chamber for many years,” said Chamber President and CEO Greg Buckler. “This partnership is another piece to the array of services the Chamber offers that helps prepare and grow the workforce in Lebanon County. A well prepared and educated workforce brings significant enhancements to the quality of life and services in the community. To make education a little more affordable and accessible to more adults and employees in the Lebanon Valley is a good thing and will bring good things to the Valley.”

“This innovative and collaborative partnership will provide numerous educational opportunities for Chamber members, ranging from helping some hone a specific skills gap through professional development and certification courses, to enabling others to achieve greater career success through educational attainment in a certificate or degree program,” said Beth Romanski, director of professional studies at LVC. “The benefit of offering Chamber members this special tuition discount demonstrates our shared commitment to workforce development and the prosperity of Lebanon County, enabling business owners and managers to quickly gain an excellent return on their investment.”
