Jonestown Bank & Trust Co. (JBT) recently presented a $5,000 donation to the Lebanon Family Health Services (LFHS) in support of its services and community programs. The donation was provided on June 30 during the Farm-to-Table Fair Day at LFHS’s WIC Office in Lebanon.

During the one-day event, LFHS distributed WIC farmers market checks to recipients, plus offered local fresh produce, food demonstrations, face painting, and the opportunity for kids to have photos taken with costumed characters Olaf and Elsa from the popular animated movie Frozen.

LFHS was established in 1973 to provide education, nutrition and reproductive health services to the uninsured and underinsured families of Lebanon County, with emphasis on women, infants and children. Today, LFHS serves over 14,000 individuals annually, with more than 50,000 visits.

Troy Peters, Chief Executive Officer of JBT stated, “Although banking is our business, there is so much more to being part of the JBT family, like supporting the communities where we live and work. JBT believes in the advantages of a local community bank, and we try to give back to our communities whenever possible.”
