Lebanon, PA
05/24/2018 04:07 PM
The Lebanon Valley Family YMCA recently was approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development to be included as an educational improvement organization and can receive Educational Improvement Tax Credits (EITC) from businesses.  Businesses can make contribution to the Lebanon Valley Family YMCA and be considered for Educational Improvement Tax Credit from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

The Commonwealth gives tax credits to eligible businesses contributing to a Scholarship Organization, an Educational Improvement Organization, and/or a Pre-Kindergarten Scholarship Organization.  Tax credits may be applied against the tax liability of a business for the tax year in which the contribution was made.

The YMCA Pre-K Program along with its School Age Before and After-school programs serve children throughout Lebanon County.  The two current Pre-school Programs are both 4 STAR rated programs, which is the highest designation a center can reach.

The Y’s Before and After School programs are in 14 different schools in all 5 school districts.  The serves more than 350 children daily.  We turn no one away due to the inability to pay.    Through the help of United Way, the YMCA Annual Campaign and programs like the EITC the Y can provide ongoing high-quality childcare throughout the county.
