Lebanon VAMC to Hold Enrollment Fair, Vietnam Vet Recognition Event

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ Lebanon VA Medical Center will hold an information and enrollment fair March 29 from 1-3:30 p.m., immediately followed by a recognition and pinning ceremony for Vietnam Veterans.
Vietnam Veterans are encouraged to register for the ceremony by calling 717-272-6621, extension 4298, or emailing VHALebPublicAffairs@va.gov.
Veterans will have the ability to register for VA health care on site. Veterans interested in on-the-spot enrollment should bring their DD-214 as well as financial information to include a copy of their most recent household tax return as well as information on medical expenses from the last calendar year. Questions on what to bring to enroll can be directed to enrollment and eligibility at (717) 228-6000.
The free event is open to the public and will feature numerous informational displays highlighting: enrollment/eligibility, suicide prevention, women’s health, clinical services, our community clinics, pharmacy services, visual impairment and rehab services, Veterans employment, and environmental exposure programs.
Representatives from the VA’s National Cemetery Administration (Indiantown Gap National Cemetery) and Harrisburg Vet Center (readjustment counseling) will also be highlighting their programs.
