The Lebanon County Association of REALTORS® (LCAR) presented Lancaster Lebanon Habitat for Humanity with a check for $17,500, funds raised at the Habitat Benefit Auction.

“This year was our 20th Annual Habitat Benefit Auction, and we were able to present Habitat with the largest donation total we’ve ever had!” stated Amy Dellinger, co-chair of the event. “To date, the Lebanon County Association of Realtors has contributed more than $190,000 to support Habitat’s mission in our community.”

The benefit auction for Habitat included dinner and hors de’ oeuvres, and featured a silent, live and Chinese auction, along with a wine pull and artwork from various local artists. Special guest Ryan Fretz, landscape artist, provided live demonstrations during the event.

The donation check was presented to Cheryl Hemperly, Public Relations and Development Manager for Lancaster Lebanon Habitat, at the Realtor’s luncheon at the Foundry.

“As this group knows well, homeownership changes lives, and with your help, we are doing more than just building homes; we are improving neighborhoods, building communities, and helping families achieve the strength, stability and independence they need to build a better life,” stated Hemperly after accepting the check on behalf of Habitat.

Lancaster Lebanon Habitat for Humanity is nearing completion of a home on Lehman Street in Lebanon that began in the spring and is planning to begin a new renovation at 1 Mifflin Street in Lebanon in the near future.
